Watching your favorite teams play live can be a truly exciting and memorable experience. Finding where they play can be very confusing!

The Rose Quarter is a complex of sports and entertainment venues.  The Rose Quarter is a pedestrian only facility.  There are several private parking garages and access to public transportation. You can walk from one venue to the next .

The largest venue, the Moda Center, has 20,000 seats and is home to The Portland Trailblazers and The Portland Steel.   The Veterans Memorial Coliseum , the original home of the Trailblazers, is now home to The Portland Winterhawks. This stadium has 12,000 seats.  The 40,000 sq foot Exhibit Hall is attached. Completing the Moda Center is the Theatre of the Clouds with 6,500 seats.

The Rose Quarter’s location is East  of the Willamette River and North of the convention center.  The general area of the Rose Garden is easy to find off of I-5.  Finding the individual venues can be difficult.  There is little street signage to guide you.  The exterior walls of the complex have a large sign that reads, “ The Moda Center”.  Unfortunately, they are not labeled with The Veterans Memorial Coliseum or The Theatre of the Clouds.  You can find a helpful map of the complex here.http://www.rosequarter.com/plan-your-visit/parking/

Providence Park is home to both the Portland Timbers and the Portland Thorns.  In 1926, this stadium was built as part of the Multnomah Athletic Club.  A massive renovation in 2010 kept much of the original beauty from 1926 while creating an arena specifically for soccer.  Providence Park is located in downtown Portland , South of Burnside Ave and West of the 405.  Providence Park recommends using public transportation.  There is a MAX stop near the entrance.  Look here.  http://www.providenceparkpdx.com/stadium-box-office .  The Park doesn’t have any parking lots of it’s own but there are private pay lots available.

If you love baseball you have to leave the city limits.  The Hillsboro Hops are a minor league baseball team created in 2013.  Their stadium is West of Portland right off of US- 26.  There are 2,000 parking spaces.  The team also offers a free shuttle bus to those exiting the Max at Orenco Station. You can get more information here. http://www.milb.com/content/page.jsp?ymd=20130531&content_id=49211914&sid=t419&vkey=team1

Enjoy all Portland has to offer!  Attend a professional sporting event.  You may become a  life time fan!
